San Diego Comic Con International 2014

For the most part, there were only a handful of things coming out of this year’s San Diego Comic Con that I was particularly interested in; panel wise anyhow.

  • Avatar: The Legend of Korra is going digital distribution for the remainder of Book 3, and possibly the entirety of Book 4, with the show likely being “done” with theĀ end of Book 4.
  • The Walking Dead had a nice season 4 recap and season 5 preview this year, nothing too revealing though.
  • Game of Thrones was just a tease, like always; since they just barely started filming season 5, so it was mostly a Q&A about Season 4.
  • Agents of SHIELD, I haven’t actually watched yet, as I was waiting for the whole season so I could binge-watch it all in one sitting.
  • Agent Carter, I’m hoping turns out well, it would be nice if it turns out to show the creation of SHIELD.
  • Archer, well I’m still on season 4 as I just watch it on Netflix (waiting for season 5); but I couldn’t find an upload of this year’s panel anywhere, so I’m still waiting for that one.
  • Legendary Pictures / Warcraft panel sounded like it was amazing from all of the articles I’ve been reading, but I can’t find a decent quality upload of the panel anywhere.
  • Marvel Cinematic Universe had an awesome panel from all accounts; covering both The Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Ant-Man. I was hoping for some more Phase 3 announcements, oh well.
  • Gotham looks better and better every time I see it, and that’s weird because I’m not a huge fan of all the superhero TV adaptations, here’s to hoping it turns out as good as it looks.

Anywho, I’ve embedded copies of the panels noted above in my full Comic Con 2014 page; so if you would like to watch them, head over to that page.
