Unfortunately, I won’t be going this year. But there’s so much stuff I want from the BlizzCon store this year too 🙁 The items in bold, I want most; especially the two World of Warcraft items, seeing as how it’s the 10th anniversary for World of Warcraft, and I’ve been playing the game for the past 10 years (since July 2004, when the game was still in beta).
- World of Warcraft 10 Year Anniversary Messenger Bag
- Heroes of the Storm reversable hoodie
- Hearthstone Lanyard
- Heroes of the Storm Lanyard
- Heroes of the Storm oversized mousepad
- Heroes of the Storm poster
- World of Warcraft “gaming bundle”
As for the announcements this year, I’m expecting the “major announcement” (there’s one ever year, except Blizzcon 2010) to be StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, the third and final chapter in the StarCraft II trilogy, which should cover the Protoss campaign and wrap up the SC2 story. Beyond that, I’m expecting the usual “What’s next?” panels that showcase the future plans for World of Warcraft, Diablo III, Hearthstone, and Heroes of the Storm. I don’t expect another WoW expansion announcement as Warlords of Draenor will be released just a few days later, and Reaper of Souls is still fresh for Diablo III. They’ll probably go more in depth with the planned 100-ish card expansion for Hearthstone, and upcoming features/changes to Heroes of the Storm.
That’s all for now. I’m hoping to start writing more posts soon, whether anyone reads them or not, I’d like to be able to just get my thoughts out and off my mind at the very least.
